HOW IT WORKS

  • On-line ordering is quick and simple. Items are categorised into product-type as well as in ranges.

  • Browse products, add your items to the order- cart, select your shipping method and confirm your details pre-captured in the registration process.

  • Press send, and your order is sent.

  • We will confirm your order and email an invoice for EFT payment, once the order is packed.

  • Should you require any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS

  • All major centres in South Africa – Flat rate of R90 per parcel -Door to Door Courier Delivery 1 to 3 days from dispatch.

  • All outlying areas in South Africa – Flat rate of R155 per parcel – Door to Door courier delivery 2 – 5 days from dispatch.

  • Postnet to Postnet service – Flat rate of R110 per parcel, delivery 3-5 days from drop off.

  • You will receive a tracking number once the parcel has been handed to the shipper. If your order has not arrived within the estimated time, please email us at info@chandraj.co.za.

  • Postage/Courier cost plus VAT, will be added to your invoice.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

  • By arrangement, you may choose to ship with your own courier.

  • Customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.

LEAD TIMES

  • For all products in stock we should process and dispatch your order within 2 to 5 working days from payment. If you require stock urgently, we’ll do our best to add a dash of speed.

  • Production times for our local range are 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the size of the order.

RETURNS

  • If you need to return an item, please email us with your order and invoice number, a photograph of the product and reason for the return. Once returned, and goods inspected, a refund /replacement /exchange or credit may be passed.

  • Each item is quality checked and carefully packed against your order. In the event that you unpack a damaged or incorrect item, please let us know within 5 days of receipt.  The cost of return for such an item will be covered by Chandra.  Refund /replacement /exchange or credit is by mutual agreement.

  • Provided merchandise is unworn and undamaged and in original packaging we can accept returns for refund, credit or exchange for any other reason up to 7 days after receipt of the goods. Full costs for return shipping will be deducted from the refund or credit.

  • International orders are not returnable, except by special arrangement.

  • Chandra Jewellery reserves its right to refuse a return if a product is not deemed to be incorrect, defective or damaged, or if the return is requested after 30 days of receipt.

  • Please note that bone, horn, wood, leather and animal hides are natural products that may show variations in colour or pattern or slight markings. Metal patina and even resin may also vary, with feint streaking. These usually add charachter to the product and are not considered to be manufacturing faults or defects.

STORING YOUR JEWELLERY STOCK

  • Store extra stock in the zip-lock bags supplied with the order. Make sure you get rid of as much air as possible before sealing, as air can oxidize metal causing it to tarnish quicker.

  • Do not expose jewellery to moisture or display in direct sunlight.

  • Wipe jewellery down after exposure to perfumes, body lotions, cosmetics and aerosols. Do not use detergents, harsh chemicals or jewellery cleaners, just wipe, rinse and dry well.

  • Silicone moisture sachets and Jewellery tarnish strips are useful for storing natural materials, such as leather and wood and metal items.
